How It Works

We are a business membership organization of entrepreneurial local leaders. We share our business news and expertise, exchange referrals and promote the success of member firms.

Keys to our success

We uphold integrity, ethics and enthusiasm. We provide a forum for professional development and cooperative relationships among member firms. Sharing of each others’ knowledge and talents builds respect and creates an informed referral network. We have a good time.

Community Connections

We share a love for Sonoma and for contributing as individually to the community. Members are out there serving on boards and or supporting many local causes, including:

Boys & Girls Club, CYO, Sonoma Chamber of Commerce, ReScape California, River Friendly/Bay Friendly Green Gardeners, Rotary Club, Sonoma Community Center, Sonoma League for Historic Preservation, Sonoma Plein Air, Sonoma Valley Mentoring Alliance, Sonoma Valley Mother’s Club, Sonoma Valley Unified School District.

Weekly Meetings

We meet Thursday mornings in Sonoma from 7:30-8:30 am. Members sharpen their “30-second Promo” not only for their own benefit but so it’s easy for fellow members to refer their services. There is a time for sharing business news, successes, requests and referrals.

Every week one member shares their expertise in a 20 minute presentation. Speaking rotates weekly until all have had a chance to present. We’re always learning new things from each other and growing our understanding of fellow member expertise.

Guests are always welcome to drop in on a Thursday meeting. See our Calendar page for meeting locations or drop us a line to give us a heads up that you’re interested.

Special Events

We get together for seasonal events. And during the holidays, gifts and jokes fly at our annual white elephant cocktail party!

Who’s Eligible to Join?

Our members are local to Sonoma Valley — either as a Sonoma Valley business owner or employee, or as a Sonoma Valley resident (and many of us both work and live here).

Our model is one member firm per business category, so that our dynamic is always in support of one another and never competitive (…except for who gives the most leads or best white elephants!)

Applying for Membership

After visiting for up to 2 meetings to check us out, our Membership Chair, Peggy Hutton, can answer any questions and get an application and dues structure to you.

Processing takes usually about a week, members vote, then you’re in and can start attending and building your “virtual sales team.”

We have member openings in many fields. To name just a few:

Photographer • Copy Writer • Hair Salon • Painter • Electrician • Plumber • Handyman • Landscape Design • Certified Public Accountant • Event Planner • Floral Designer • Chef / Caterer • Psychologist • Business Coach • Professional Organizer • Pet Groomer • Bookkeeping • Property Management • Veterinarian • Cleaning Business….
and more. Let’s talk!
